Acorn Belgian Waffles (Makes about 20 waffles)
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
1-2 tsp of vanilla extract (optional)
- Melt the butter,
- Add the sugar and vanilla.
- Add the eggs one at a time, then the flour and baking powder. For lighter waffles, beat the egg whites before combining.
- Warm up your iron to medium high
-Cook each waffle for approx. 3 mins or until done to your liking.
-Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
